This is a New Fisher Space Pen, Model #T7 Aviation Series Thunderbird. Yes, this is the United States Air Force Thunderbirds Ink Pen. It was Pilot Designed with a "Gripping Knob" to allow easy removal and replacement from a small lower leg pocket of the pilots flight suit. This pen is 5" long and .375 in dameter with a tapered, ridged grip. The barrel is engraved with the word Thunderbird and their logo and the knob features the Thunderbird emblem in color. This pen is retractable with a side buttom release and it comes with a PR series black ink medium point pressurized refill. This is one of Fisher's top of the line pens and must for any collector or aviation fan. Comes gift boxed with a sleeve.
