This is a New Fisher Space Pen, Model #400-S Chrome Bullet Space Pen with Stylus. It comes with black ink and a medium point. This is a cap type pen, not a retractable pen. It is a compact pen with the cap on, with the cap off it is a full sized pen with the writing point exposed. It is pictured both ways in the photo below for a comparison. This pen is 5-3/8" long when ready to write and capped is only 3-3/4" long and the barrel is .350 That is a standard sized pen and has tapered, ridged grip and a pocket clip. It has a gift box and sleeve (both pictured) The MSRP on this pen is $22.00. Bullet pens use the standard "PR" series refills. These Bullet Pens come in a variety of finishes and colors, with and without pocket clips. The standard Fisher “PR Series” Refills were developed for NASA and have been used on EVERY Space Shuttle mission both American and Russian. They are hermetically sealed with a specially formulated thixotropic ink and pressurized to about 35 PSI. They are the only refills that will write at any angle because they do not rely on gravity, and have a shelf life of 100 years.
