I was on the Cyber Space Pens website admiring the Coffee Bean with Cream Pen again (I do that more often than I care to admit) - when it occurred to me to scroll down and see if anything else struck my fancy.
I am not the most observant person in the world so I am not all that surprised that I never noticed the pen just below my sweet caffeinated pen … the Purple Stabilized Maple Burl Pen. Normally, I am not a big fan of purple … but I am a big fan of class and this pen has it, in spades!
The effect of the deep purple dye on the wood is beautiful, but I think it’s the chrome and black accents that do it for me. Of course, it contains a Fisher refill, so it’s first class on the inside as well. It does come with the engravable leack leatherette box which adds to the high-end feel.
Truly, any of Katie Manrique’s handmade pens would make a fabulous gift. The only problem is that once to see and hold one, you won’t want to give it away.
I was at Walgreens last night writing a check. As I always do, I took my Bullet Pen out of my purse and played with it a little before opening it up and using it. I like to do that because I like to show it off and I like to savor the writing experience.
I started thinking about that as I was waiting for my receipt and it made me feel sad for all the people who can’t enjoy their pens. Whether its letter writing or bill paying, there is so much more enjoyment when you are using a handsome, high quality writing implement.
I am making it my mission this Christmas to give my loved one’s the Fisher Pen experience. I gave a few Space Pens last year and I am still being thanked. I am excited this year because I can also choose from the Handmade Pens at Cyber Space Pens. The Crushed Sunflower Shells Carbara is one that I become more fond of every time I look at it. It has a masculine look to it, I can see my brother loving it. It comes with the Triangular Maple Wood Box which serves as a holder as well as a display. I will definitely have it engraved … I just haven’t figured out what to put on it yet.
What is it about boys and flashlights? Every Christmas I get a couple to stick in their stockings and you’d think it was the latest and greatest video game.
“Look, at it when I shine it on the TV! Look at the ceiling when I do it this way!” It never ceases to amaze and amuse me. Of course, within 48 hours my boys have to take them apart to see how they work and if they could reassemble the parts in a different way and make something cooler.
So, I wasn’t surprised when we were browsing Cyber Space Pens site for a suitable birthday gift for Grandpa and they zeroed in on the Space Beam. Oh my goodness, you’d have thought it was the Holy Grail! A small argument followed as my daughter was not on board with the idea … she was aiming for the Chrome Golf Ball Pen. We reached a compromise and decided to save the Golf Ball Pen for Christmas.
I knew Grandpa would like it, but I didn’t quite expect the scene that followed …. “Wow, check it out! Look at it when I shine it out the window! It’s so sharp! Let’s go down the basement and test it out!” I guess boys never outgrow flashlights! I just hope Grandpa has outgrown the need to take them apart!
So man hasn’t actually landed on Mars (yet), but there have certainly been strides made in the past few years toward accomplishing this goal. One of the many breakthrough’s we’ve seen was the creation of the Mars Pen from Fisher Space Pens.
The Mars Pen is a millenium pen, which means that no matter how much you use it or how long you have it, it will never run out of ink. It has a lifetime guarantee, so you don’t have to worry! It could easily be the last pen you ever have.
The Mars Pen is a capped pen that is only 4 1/4″ long, and has a barrel that is .460 in diameter, larger than the standard size. It prints in black ink with a bold point and is unrefillable. But don’t worry–you won’t need refills!
While you can’t actually travel to Mars with the Mars Pen, you can appreciate the science and design that went into the Fisher Space Pen. Built to hold up in the harshest of conditions and to write upside down, underwater and over grease, the Fisher Space Pen is one of a kind.
This is the time of year when students in all genre’s start entering the workforce. New teachers are entering the job market in droves, and it can be difficult to think of a good graduation present. Why not give the new teacher in your life a Quad Function Space Pen?
This Quad action Fisher Space pen writes with black ink, red ink, 0.7mm lead pencil, and has a stylus point for your PDA, Palm pilot, or touch screen. What more could you want from a pen? The amount of simple functionality makes it a favorite for teachers, or any graduate you may have on your list.
The price is really reasonable, too, and it comes in it’s own gift box for easy wrapping. Check it out today at Cyber Space Pens.
Cyber Space Pens is offering the Trekker Space Pen for $25.50 this month. The MSRP on this pen set is $40.00 - you can do the math. This would make a great gift for someone who is on the go a lot - whether in rough terrain or in urban terrain.
This is a capped pen - and has a key ring attached to the cap. Not to worry, the cap will not come off the pen unless the owner makes it happen. If you are not wanting an addition to your keychain - it also comes with a carabineer (not intended for use in climbling - only for use in carrying a pen) and a lanyard. You can attached this to whatever you need to to make sure it’s there when you need it. You know it will work even if it’s been hanging upside down and the windchill is ten below zero. Why do you know it will work? That’s right, because it’s a Fisher Space Pen.
Whether it’s a student, an employer, an employee, or the nice lady who sells you your coffee at the gas station, this Trekker Pen would be an excellent gift. Okay, the lady at the gas station might be weirded out, but after she has the opportunity to enjoy the convenience of this pen - she’ll thank you!

It’s the middle of the night and you fell asleep with the TV on. You wake up to an infomercial for the blanket with arms in it and you know you have to get yourself and at least one family member one of those, but you are not going to do it now, you’ll just write down the number or website and do it tomorrow. Wait, write it where? Are you really going to get up, turn on the light and find a pen and paper? Nope. You’ll just try to commit it to memory, turn the channel and fall back to sleep.
This is why you need a Nite Note! This is no ordinary pad and paper because first and foremost, it comes with a Fisher Space Pen. It gets even better. This pad has a lifetime light that only comes on when you remove the pen. In the picture the pen is out and the light is off - it’s just so you can see the size of the pen relative to the notepad. It gets even better still. When you run out of paper, you can either buy refills or just use 3×5 index cards. It won’t be that cute gadget that gets stuck in some drawer because you ran out of paper and never bothered to order more.
Who should you buy this for? This writer’s parents both want one (the blanket with the arms in it … true story … my dad). There are any number of people who would love a Nite Note.
This is yet another example of truly unique but very practical gift-giving solutions by Cyber Space Pens. We’re here to make your holiday season a little less hectic. Come and shop our store today!

The Quad Action Space Pen (Q4) is a new Fisher Space Pen. This pen writes with blank ink, red ink, 0.7mm lead pencil, and has a stylus point for your PDA, Palm Pilot, or touch screen. It has a very classy look with its gun metal finish and black cushioned grip. The cap lifts off to expose a refillable eraser. To change from one function to another, simply hold the pen horizontal with the word for your desired point toward the ceiling. Push the button and you’re set. This pen makes a great gift for a teacher. They need that red ink!
Though Fisher Space Pens currently only makes the Q4, the refills will fit the former triple action pens offered in the past. The Q4 refills are known as Universal Refills and have designated break off points so they will fit a variety of pens that require shorter refills.

- X-750 Copper Vein
Fisher Space Pens offers three series of pens in its Capped Pen section. The X-Mark series is similar to the Bullet only with a flat top. Like the bullets, the X-Marks have a removable pocket clip. The X-750 series is a heavier pen with a lot of style. These pens have a rubberized grip and a chrome non-removable pocket clip. The X-750 series pens are available in several colors, Copper Vein being this team member’s favorite.
The Stowaway series is a small, slim pen that is great for checkbooks. It is a very affordable pen yet maintains the quality of all other Fisher Space Pens. If you are a PDA user, then the Stowaway pen with the removable clip and stylus is exactly what you need. It has the same slim size of the regular stowaway, but with the added function of the stylus tip. The Stowaway series comes in three colors, red, black, and blue.
